Stage 6: Ready, Set, GO! Preparing for your Tournament
Length of stage: 2-4 weeks
Team Time: Whatever it takes!

  • Rehearse solution presentation
  • Dress Rehearsal for audience: Present solution for parents/school/other audience
  • Create Tournament Tool Kit and emergency kit for presentation items
  • Create list of “What Ifs” for Tournament
  • Continue to do Instant Challenges under Tournament conditions
  • At the end of each meeting, debrief.
    Ask team:
    • Where are we?
    • Are we on track?
    • Do we want to keep moving in this direction?
    • Do we want to change our goal?
    • Are we having fun?

As the Team Manager:

  • Provide a copy of TravelGuide for Teams to each team member
  • Read TravelGuide for Teams
  • Receive Tournament information and schedule: contact Regional Director if needed
  • Have a pre-Tournament meeting with team members’ parents
  • Showtime! Participate in your local Tournament
